KB 10.58.18
Kṛṣṇa asked His friend Arjuna to go forward and ask the girl who she was. By the order of Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna immediately approached the girl, who was very beautiful. She had an attractive body, nice, glittering teeth and a smiling face.
Purport
Kṛṣṇa wanted Arjuna to see the deep devotion of this girl, and thus He urged him to make the initial inquiries.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Arjuna was sent by Krsna to inquire from her about her attachment to him.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
She is described. Her great beauty (pramadottamām) is indicated without describing everything. Arjuna was sent by Kṛṣṇa. He did not approach her out of desire on his own. Because he was a friend of Arjuna he acted without reservation. Arjuna got off the chariot and approached her. Kṛṣṇa sent Arjuna because he had a desire to have her as his wife. In any other circumstance, he would have approached her personally.
