Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

The King of Kośala, his heart melting with affection, had the bride and groom seated on their chariot, and then he sent them on their way surrounded by a great army. KB 10.58.52 After giving this dowry, the king of Kośala Province bade his daughter and great son-in-law be seated on a chariot and allowed them to go to their home, guarded by a division of well-equipped soldiers. As they traveled fast to their new home, the King’s heart was enlivened with affection for them.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

The king had the couple surrounded by a great army because his heart was extremely moist (praklinna) with tears caused by his affection.
