Translation
When the intolerant kings who had been rival suitors heard what had happened, they tried to stop Lord Kṛṣṇa on the road as He took His bride home. But just as the bulls had broken the kings’ strength before, the Yadu warriors broke it now.

Before this marriage of Satyā with Kṛṣṇa, there had been many competitive engagements with the bulls of King Nagnajit, and many other princes of the Yadu dynasty and of other dynasties as well had tried to win the hand of Satyā. When the frustrated princes of the other dynasties heard that Kṛṣṇa was successful in getting the hand of Satyā by subduing the bulls, naturally they became envious. The kings heard about this in their various lands and then came. Kṛṣṇa was somewhat delayed in Kośala because of waiting for the correct constellation etc. for the wedding, conducted according to the rules. They obstructed him on the road because they were extremely intolerant in nature (sudurmarṣāḥ), proud of their heroism. But their valor was immediately crushed by the Yadus. This was the same as their previous condition of being defeated by the bulls.
