Lord Kṛṣṇa and His wife, mounted upon Garuḍa, looked like a cloud with lightning sitting above the sun. Seeing the Lord, Bhauma released his Śataghnī weapon at Him, whereupon all of Bhauma’s soldiers simultaneously attacked with their weapons.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Lord Kṛṣṇa and His wife, mounted upon Garuḍa, looked like a cloud with lightning sitting above the sun. Seeing the Lord, Bhauma released his Śataghnī weapon at Him, whereupon all of Bhauma's soldiers simultaneously attacked with their weapons.
KB 10.59.15
When they came out, they saw that Lord Kṛṣṇa and His wife were beautifully situated high in outer space just like a blackish cloud about the sun, glittering with the light of electricity. The demon Bhaumāsura immediately released a weapon called Śataghnī, by which he could kill hundreds of warriors with one stroke, and all his assistants simultaneously threw their respective weapons at the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
He threw the sataghni weapon at Krsna.
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
On seeing the Lord with his wife, Naraka became furious. The second ca means api (even). His troops attacked at the same time.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
On seeing the Lord with his wife, Naraka became furious. The second ca means api (even). His troops attacked at the same time. Or even though he saw this beauty, he was hard-hearted.
The troops were mounted on elephants or were just troops accompanying Naraka. Those with elephants were most prominent. They threw their weapons at the same time.
