Smiling bashfully as she cast charming, affectionate glances upon the face of the Lord, the best of males, Rukmiṇī spoke the following, O descendant of Bharata. KB 10.60.33 … and she began to look at His face very cheerfully with her naturally smiling face.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

She glanced at the face of Kṛṣṇa exhibiting the height of beauty and cleverness (puṁsām ṛṣabham). He was Bhagavān, endowed with beauty because of his affectionate smile and drops of perspiration. She glanced at him in special way (vi—īkṣya), with glances moist with prema, attractive with smiles along with shyness. Her smile was mixed with shyness because she had to make effort to show a proud smile. O Bhārata! Pay attention to this. You should understand this since the conversation between the two greatest persons spreads the glory of your great dynasty.
