Translation
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: O descendant of Bharata, the relatives of Aniruddha, not seeing Him return, continued to lament as the four rainy months passed.

When the four months of the rainy season passed and Aniruddha had still not returned home, all the members of the Yadu family became much perturbed. They could not understand how the boy was missing.

In the sixty third chapter, Krsna defeats Jvara and Rudra, is praised by them, then cuts off the arms of Banasura, and returns to Dvaraka with Aniruddha.
Starting from the month of Jyestha, Aniruddha disappeared for six months. Even the four months of the monsoon season passed and he had not returned.

The word ca means “but.” This indicates a change of subject. All the Yadus (bandhūnām) and their male and female servants (indicated by second ca) continually lamented (anu—śocatām). Four months of the monsoon completely passed (vi—atīyuh). This means it was now Mārgaśīrṣa (December). After Ūsā’s dream which occurred on the Dvādaśī during waxing phase of Vaiśākha month, Aniruddha was brought to her on the first days of Jyeṣṭha month, according to Citralekhā’s words in Hari-vaṁśa. Sapta-rātreṇa te bhīru darśayiṣyāmy ahaṁ priyam: I will show you your beloved in seven nights time. Six months passed, including even the four months of the monsoon. The first ca can also mean “and the four months of the monsoon passed.” Thus the Yadus began to worry more. O best of the Bharata clan! You were born in the Pāṇḍava family. You know that the pastimes of the Lord do not go in vain.

Or according to Śukadeva the abduction took place at the beginning of the monsoon. Śukadeva addresses Parīkṣit with amazement, since in spite of the presence of the Lord, the Yadus did not know the whereabouts of Aniruddha. Or it is similar to their activities while being seemingly ignorant of Abhimanyu’ fall, during the Kurukṣetra war.
