Translation
While speaking these words, the young cowherd women remembered Lord Śauri’s laughter, His pleasing conversations with them, His attractive glances, His style of walking and His loving embraces. Thus they began to cry.

When the gopīs were talking in this way, their feelings for Kṛṣṇa became more and more intense, and they were experiencing Kṛṣṇa’s smiling, Kṛṣṇa’s words of love, Kṛṣṇa’s attractive features, Kṛṣṇa’s characteristics and Kṛṣṇa’s embraces. By the force of their ecstatic feelings, it appeared to them that Kṛṣṇa was personally present and dancing before them. Because of their sweet remembrance of Kṛṣṇa, they could not check their tears, and they cried without consideration.

Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī comments as follows: “The
gopīs
thought, ‘The Kṛṣṇa moon, after piercing our hearts with the darts of His nectarean laughter, went away. So how will the city women not die when He does the same to them?’ Overwhelmed with these thoughts, the young cowherd girls began to cry, even in the presence of Śrī Baladeva.”

After piercing the gopis' hearts with the five arrows of his sweet smile, sweet talks, sweet glance, his stance in walking and his embrace, Krsna had disappeared on them. Now should they perhaps just die? Completely distressed, they began to cry right in front of Baladeva.

Thus (iti) they remembered his smile. The affix pra indicates the start of a smile. The word cāru (beautiful) should be understood with all his features they remembered. They remembered his embrace of all their limbs with his prema. Or, prema can indicate “soft with affection.” The list is in order of features that will make them cry more intensely. They call him a member of the kṣatriya clan (śaureḥ) out of anger since now he ignores the cowherd women. The word striyaḥ indicates that they had lost all discrimination.
