ततो द‍ृषद्वतीं तीर्त्वा मुकुन्दोऽथ सरस्वतीम् । पञ्चालानथ मत्स्यांश्च शक्रप्रस्थमथागमत् ॥ २२ ॥

tato dṛṣadvatīṁ tīrtvā mukundo ’tha sarasvatīm paṣcālān atha matsyāṁś ca śakra-prastham athāgamat

tataḥ then ; dṛṣadvatīm the river Dṛṣadvatī ; tīrtvā crossing ; mukundaḥ Lord Kṛṣṇa ; atha then ; sarasvatīm the river Sarasvatī ; paṣcālān the Paṣcāla province ; atha then ; matsyān the Matsya province ; ca also ; śakra prastham — to Indraprastha ; atha and ; āgamat He came .

Translation

After crossing the rivers Dṛṣadvatī and Sarasvatī, He passed through Paṣcāla and Matsya and finally came to Indraprastha.

After crossing the rivers Dṛṣadvatī and Sarasvatī, He passed through Paṣcāla and Matsya and finally came to Indraprastha. KB 10.71.22 On His way to Hastināpura, the Lord crossed two big rivers, the Dṛṣadvatī and the Sarasvatī. Then He crossed the provinces of Paṣcāla and Matsya. In this way, He ultimately arrived at Hastināpura, or Indraprastha.

After passing through those places he passed through Dṛṣadvatī. Though in going from Dvārakā to Indraprastha Vinaśana, Pāñcāla and other provinces were not the destination, he visited those places to give happiness to the devotees there and give benefit to all living entities. Even going with minimal luggage, the pace was not fast because of the palanquins.

After passing through those places, he passed through Dṛṣadvatī. Though in going from Dvārakā to Indraprastha, Vinaśana, Pāñcāla and other provinces were not the destination, he visited those places to give happiness to the devotees there and give benefit to all living entities. Or the places are not mentioned in order. Pāñcala is situated before Marudeśa (desert). He bypassed Vinaśana.
