Translation
[Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued:] Having said this, Sahadeva, who understood Lord Kṛṣṇa’s powers, fell silent. And having heard his words, all the saintly persons present congratulated him, exclaiming “Excellent! Excellent!”

Sahadeva was fortunate to know of the glories of Kṛṣṇa, and after describing them in brief, he stopped speaking. After this speech, all the members present in that great sacrificial assembly applauded, confirming his words continuously by saying, “Everything you have said is completely perfect. Everything you have said is completely perfect.”

"O Krsna you are eager to wash the feet of all the people assembled in my palace. But the eager kings is inviting you in order to wash your feet, as you are worthy of worship by all including Brahma and Siva. Please quickly go there." Messengers informed Krsna in this way and brought him, and then Yudhisthira worshipped him elaborately. Krsna, though protesting this worship, being irritated in an affectionate way, was attractive to all.

He became silent since he understood Kṛṣṇa’s powers. Because of Sahadeva’s great devotion, and waiting for some cause of talking, they had remained silent previously. The brāhmaṇas (sattamaḥ) then praised him. This is understood from the next verse
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
He became silent because he experienced continuous prema (anubhāva) for Kṛṣṇa, who attracts the hearts of the universe. By describing Kṛṣṇa he was overcome with prema. Or he knew the qualities of Kṛṣṇa, the ocean of good qualities, such as his shyness. Kṛṣṇa would become embarrassed on hearing himself glorified in the assembly. Everyone praised Sahadeva because they were supreme in intelligence, birth etc. (sattamāḥ). Others who were not intelligent did not praise him. This is understood later.
