Translation
O leaders of the assembly, you know best who is a fit candidate for being honored. Therefore you should not heed the words of a child when he claims that Kṛṣṇa deserves to be worshiped.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
O leaders of the assembly, you know best who is a fit candidate for being honored. Therefore you should not heed the words of a child when he claims that Kṛṣṇa deserves to be worshiped.

“I fully agree with the respectable persons present here that they are competent to select the personality who can be worshiped first, but I cannot agree with the statement of a boy like Sahadeva, who has spoken so highly about Kṛṣṇa and has recommended that Kṛṣṇa is fit to accept the first worship in the sacrifice.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
"O leaders of the assembly, do not accept the words of a child by which Krsna was selected as the first worshipped." However another meaning by the skill of Sarasvati is "Duryodhana and other members of the opposition, do not regard these as a child’s words. They are actually the words of the veda."
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
“Who has such intelligence?” You do. Do not give regard to the words of Sahadeva, a boy. Now you should reverse the worship since you are the best knowers of who is qualified, not this boy. From his words, Kṛṣṇa had been accepted for worship. He uses the name Kṛṣṇa directly to criticize him. The real meaning of his words is “The Vedas are true, but do not give regard to my foolish (bālasya) words since you are knowers of who is qualified for worship, since Kṛṣṇa, para -brahman in human form, is accepted for worship.”
