Translation
As Śālva rushed at Him, the Lord shot a bhalla dart and cut off his arm that held the club. Having finally decided to kill Śālva, Kṛṣṇa then raised His Sudarśana disc weapon, which resembled the sun at the time of universal annihilation. The brilliantly shining Lord appeared like the easternmost mountain bearing the rising sun.

When Śālva ran swiftly to attack Kṛṣṇa with his club, Lord Kṛṣṇa cut off his hand, which fell to the ground with the club. Finally deciding to kill him, the Lord took up His wonderful disc, which shone like the brilliant sun at the time of the dissolution of the material creation. When Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa stood up with His disc to kill Śālva, He appeared just like a mountain with the red sun rising over it.

Wanting to perform the death rites by taking revenge for the death of his friends like Sisupala, Dantavakra approached Krsna in anger.

The astonishing cakra is described. It was like the sun at the time of devastation. Kṛṣṇa took up (bibhrat) the cakra to kill Śālva. To kill a demon the cakra took on great effulgence. Even while fighting, the Lord appeared most beautiful.

Immediately after that (atha), the Lord cut off his arm and raised his cakra, astonishing like the sun at dissolution of the universe. Kṛṣṇa took up (bibhrat) the cakra to kill Śālva. To kill a demon the cakra took on great effulgence. Kṛṣṇa was like the Eastern Mountain, which is also dark, holding the sun. Even while fighting, the Lord appeared most beautiful.
