KB 10.8.16
“This child will be very pleasing to all the cowherd men and cows. Being very popular in Vṛndāvana, He will be the cause of all good fortune for you. Because of His presence, you will overcome all kinds of material calamities, despite opposing elements.”
Purport
For the cowherd men and the cows, Kṛṣṇa is the supreme friend. Therefore He is worshiped by the prayer
namo brahmaṇya-devāya go-brāhmaṇa-hitāya ca.
His pastimes in Gokula, His
dhāma,
are always favorable to the
brāhmaṇas
and the cows. His first business is to give all comfort to the cows and the
brāhmaṇas.
In fact, comfort for the
brāhmaṇas
is secondary, and comfort for the cows is His first concern. Because of His presence, all people would overcome all difficulties and always be situated in transcendental bliss.
Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
"He will produce (adhasyat) benefit, and give joy (nandana) for the cowherds and groups of cows (go kula)." Or gopa gokula nandana can refer to Krsna’s becoming the son (nandana) of all the cowherds and cows by his expansions during the Brahma mohana pastime. Or gopa can here be taken as a vocative address to Nanda Maharaj, O cowherd. "Very easily or happily, by him, you will cross over all obstacles. Whenever difficulties arise, your son, who is invested with the powers of Narayana will deliver you. You should therefore take shelter of him."
Purport (Jiva Goswami)
This child will give bliss to the all the cowherds of Gokula. That is his nature. And by action he will
do what is most beneficial for the people of Vraja in this life and the next. Because of Kṛṣṇa you will easily cross over all disturbances from Kaṁsa and others.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
This child will give bliss to the all the cowherds of Gokula. That is the nature of this avatāra. Or king (gopa)! Garga speaks with respect to Nanda. Or O protector of the earth (gopa)! The earth is protected by you. And by action this child will do what is most beneficial for the people of Vraja in this life and the next, or for all devotees in general. Or he will act beneficially for all your people. He will give joy to all of Gokula. And by action he will do what is most beneficial for the people of Vraja in this life and the next.
