Translation
When Nanda Mahārāja saw Garga Muni present at his home, Nanda was so pleased that he stood up to receive him with folded hands. Although seeing Garga Muni with his eyes, Nanda Mahārāja could appreciate that Garga Muni was adhokṣaja; that is, he was not an ordinary person seen by material senses.

When Nanda Mahārāja saw Gargamuni present at his home, Nanda was so pleased that he stood up to receive him with folded hands. Although seeing Gargamuni with his eyes, Nanda Mahārāja could appreciate that Gargamuni was adhokṣaja; that is, he was not an ordinary person seen by material senses.

When Garga Muni arrived at the home of Nanda Mahārāja, Nanda Mahārāja was very much pleased to see him and immediately stood up with folded hands and offered his respectful obeisances. He received Garga Muni with the feeling of one who is worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Nanda worshipped Garga with devotion, as if he were the Supreme Lord (adhikṣaja-dhiyā).

Nanda worshipped Garga with devotion, as if he were the Supreme Lord (adhokṣaja-dhiyā), who is beyond knowledge of the senses. This means he thought of Garga as a great devotee. Adhokṣaja also means he who was as if born again under the axel when the cart fell. After that incident he was called adhokṣaja. Nanda thinking of Kṛṣṇa as his son, out of attachment, thinking of his safety, worshipped Garga. He offered respects on the ground, or with great humility in front of him.
