Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

The Vedas are Your spotless heart, and through them one can perceive—by means of austerity, study and self-control—the manifest, the unmanifest and the pure existence transcendental to both. KB 10.84.19 “Dear Lord, the Vedic knowledge is the representation of Your pure heart. Austerities, study of the Vedas, and meditative trances lead to different realizations of Your Self in Your manifested and nonmanifested aspects. The entire phenomenal world is a manifestation of Your impersonal energy, but You Yourself, as the original Personality of Godhead, are not manifested there.

Purport

Vyakta, “the manifest,” consists of the visible things of this world, and avyakta consists of the subtle, underlying causes of cosmic creation. The Vedas point toward the transcendental realm of Brahman, which lies beyond all material cause and effect.

Purport (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)

You follow the path of the Vedas, because the Vedas are very dear to you (the statement is mentioned in the previous verse). The pure (suklam) Vedas (brahma) are your heart in which cause (avyaktam) and effect (vyaktam) and existence itself, Brahman (param), are realized through austerity study and sense control.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

“Do you protect your devotees by nourishing the path of the Vedas?” The Vedas (brahma) are your form (hṛdayam) made of pure mercy (śuklam). In the Vedas, by performing all rites, by learning all its meanings, by controlling the mind from wandering elsewhere, the supreme Brahman, Bhagavān (paraḥ), beyond the visible universe (vyaktam) and prakṛti (avyaktam) is realized. By supporting the Vedas you support your devotees.

Purport (Sanatana Goswami)

Having shown the eternal nature of the Vedas, the cause for respecting the brāhmaṇas is explained in two verses. In the Vedas the devotees can understand the supreme lord and prakṛti by follow sva-dharma, study of the Vedas, and performance of vratas. Though study is included in following sva-dharma it is mentioned separately in this case because of its great importance. Or by the Vedas Svarga (vyaktam) and impersonal Brahman (avyaktam), and then what is most excellent, bhakti, is realized. In the Vedas (yatra) this is attained (upalabdham). This means by the Vedas, this is attained. Or brahman can mean the brāhmaṇas. By them one can attain realization of bhakti etc.
