नारायणाङ्गसंस्पर्शप्रतिलब्धात्मदर्शना: ॥ ५५ ॥

मिषतां सर्वभूतानां ययुर्धाम दिवौकसाम् ॥ ५६ ॥

Translation
By drinking her nectarean milk, the remnants of what Kṛṣṇa Himself had previously drunk, the six sons touched the transcendental body of the Lord, Nārāyaṇa, and this contact awakened them to their original identities. They bowed down to Govinda, Devakī, their father and Balarāma, and then, as everyone looked on, they left for the abode of the demigods.

By drinking her nectarean milk, the remnants of what Kṛṣṇa Himself had previously drunk, the six sons touched the transcendental body of the Lord, Nārāyaṇa, and this contact awakened them to their original identities. They bowed down to Govinda, Devakī, their father and Balarāma, and then, as everyone looked on, they left for the abode of the demigods.

The milk from the breasts of Devakī was transcendental nectar because the same milk had been sucked by Lord Kṛṣṇa. As such, the babies who sucked the breasts of Devakījī, which had touched the body of Lord Kṛṣṇa, immediately became self-realized persons. The babies therefore began to offer their obeisances unto Lord Kṛṣṇa, Balarāma, their father Vasudeva and their Mother Devakī. After this, they were immediately transferred to their respective heavenly planets.
Purport
Lord Kṛṣṇa remained as an infant with Devakī and Vasudeva for only a very short time. First the Lord appeared before them in His four-armed Viṣṇu form, and after hearing their prayers He changed Himself into an apparently ordinary infant for their pleasure. But to save Kṛṣṇa from suffering His brothers’ fate, Vasudeva at once removed Him from Kaṁsa’s prison. Just before Vasudeva took Him away, Mother Devakī suckled Kṛṣṇa once so that He would not feel thirsty during the long trip to Nanda-vraja. This we learn from the commentary of Śrīla Viśvanātha Cakravartī Ṭhākura.

They had drunk the milk which was filled with the highest bliss (amṛtam), which was the remnant of Kṛṣṇa. He is called the holder of the club because taking his club he went to the lower worlds to retrieve her sons. Devakī first had Kṛṣṇa take the milk from her breast. They were directly touched by the hand of Svayam Bhagavān, the shelter of all beings (nārāyaṇa). They then assumed their devatā forms again. They went to the devatās’ planet without affection for their mother or others by the will of the Lord, according to their desire, while all beings looked on with joy. Instead of divaukasām sometimes vihāyasā (accepted by Śrīdhara Svāmī) is seen.
Purport (Sanatana Goswami)
Gaḍa-bhṛtaḥ indicates that Kṛṣṇa came there with his club or that he is directly Nārāyaṇa, since at his birth he showed this form. Or it means “he who protects completely his younger brother Gada.” He was bhagavān, who appeared as the son of Vasudeva to show his unlimited powers.
Showing an infant form in his previous birth, with great affection he drank from her breast at that time (in this life he was separated at birth and drank from Yaśodā only). The sons attained knowledge of their svarūpa by the touch of the hand of the supreme Lord (nārāyaṇa). Or they had attained knowledge of the Lord’s greatness by the touch of his hand.
They offered respects to Govinda, directly bhagavān, who appeared on earth to reveal unlimited powers. They then offered respects to Devakī, their mother, before the others, out of great affection and to make themselves successful, while all beings observed. They ignored others while paying attention to the Lord and his devotees. Or all beings looked on in astonishment. The event actually happened. They departed for Vaikuṇtha on the path of the sky.
