With the wash water, the virtuous Śrutadeva copiously sprinkled himself, his house and his family. Overjoyed, he felt that all his desires had now been fulfilled. KB 10.86.40 After this, he took the water and sprinkled it over all the members of his family, and although the brāhmaṇa appeared very poor, he was at that time most fortunate. While Śrutadeva was welcoming Lord Kṛṣṇa and His associates, he simply forgot himself in transcendental joy.

He worshipped them by offering fruit such as amalaki, by arghya (arahana), by usira root, by fragrant camphor (sita), by water sweet as nectar, and other items which could easily be obtained (yatha upapannaya), and by pure food (andhasa) which increased sattva guna.

He sprinkled himself with the water from Kṛṣṇa’s feet which was otherwise unobtainable by him. Śukadeva expresses his respect by calling him most fortunate (mahā-bhāgaḥ). He was overjoyed because his desires were now fulfilled.

Purport (Sanatana Goswami)

He was most fortunate or had attained a portion of bhakti (mahā-bhāgaḥ). In great joy, he bathed himself and his family in that water. By that he had attained all his desires.
