Translation
Śrī Śaunaka said: O Sūta, you are the best of learned men and a great devotee of the Supreme Lord. Therefore we now inquire from you about the definitive conclusion of all tantra scriptures.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Śaunaka said: O Sūta! You are a great devotee of the Supreme Lord and know the conclusions concerning tantra! We now inquire from you about that.
In the Eleventh Chapter the aṅgas and upāṅgas and vibhūtis for worship are described as well as the twelve expansions of the sun. Mārkaṇḍeya, our previous master, was expert in tantrika worship of the Lord. We ask you about this now. We ask about the method of worship by which he made the Lord visible. Rāddhante means “in the conclusion.”
