Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
When Vāsudeva, the antaryāmī, along with the citta, entered the heart, the universal form rose up from the water.
Caityaḥ is Vāsudeva, the antaryāmī (kṣetrjṣaḥ), for as the Gītā says kṣetrajṣaṣ cāpi māṁ viddhi sarva-kṣetreṣv asthitam: know that I am the knower of the field situated in all bodies. (BG 13.13)
