व्यूढवक्षा बृहच्छ्रोणिर्वलिवल्गुदलोदर: । आवर्तनाभिरोजस्वी काञ्चनोरुरुदग्रपात् ॥ १६ ॥

vyūḍha-vakṣā bṛhac-chroṇir vali-valgu-dalodaraḥ āvarta-nābhir ojasvī kāṣcanorur udagra-pāt

Synonyms

vyūḍha broad ; vakṣāḥ chest ; bṛhat śroṇiḥ — thick waist ; vali wrinkles ; valgu very beautiful ; dala like a leaf of a banyan tree ; udaraḥ abdomen ; āvarta coiled ; nābhiḥ navel ; ojasvī lustrous ; kāṣcana golden ; uruḥ thighs ; udagra pāt — arched instep .

Translation

The chest of Mahārāja Pṛthu was very broad, his waist was very thick, and his abdomen, wrinkled by lines of skin, resembled in construction a leaf of a banyan tree. His navel was coiled and deep, his thighs were of a golden hue, and his instep was arched.

He had a broad chest, large waist, an abdomen shaped like a banyan leaf with three lines, a twirled navel, golden thighs and feet raised in front. He had a broad chest. He had a beautiful abdomen shaped like a banyan leaf, with tip pointing down, broad at the top and narrow at the bottom, spread with three lines horizontally. Below that was his navel twirling clockwise. He had limbs like golden pillars. The front parts of his feet were raised.
