Translation
Only for the sake of living in the heavenly planets, you killed my elder brother — a self-realized, sinless, qualified brāhmaṇa who had been appointed your chief priest. He was your spiritual master, but although you entrusted him with the performance of your sacrifice, you later mercilessly severed his heads from his body the way one butchers an animal.
Translation (Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura)
Just as a sacrificer desiring Svarga mercilessly cuts off the head of an animal, you, desiring Svarga, after gaining his trust, using your sword, cut off the heads [Note: The plural is used to indicate that Indra killed not one person but many—guru, brāhmaṇa, brother. ] of my elder brother, a knower of ātmā, a brāhmaṇa, and your guru, who was free of sin and appointed by you for sacrifice.
The sacrificer and you both desire Svarga.
