Verse Text

sañcārayanti vaicitrīṁ nayante tāṁ tathā-vidhām |
ye nirvedādayo bhāvās te tu sañcāriṇo matāḥ ||89||

Translation

Those mental conditions such as nirveda (self-deprecation) which produce further variety in the rati (sañcārayanti) induced by the vibhāvas and made more enjoyable by the anubhāvas, are called sañcāri-bhāvas or vyabhicāri-bhāvas.

Purport (Jiva Goswami)

Tathā-vidhām means rati which has become tasty through the vibhāvas and the anubhāvas.

Purport (Nectar of Devotion)

The different causes for developing anubhāva and vibhāva are called steady ecstasy, or sañcāri-bhāva.
